Today we got to go hear the baby's heartbeat and see how I am doing. I am measuring exactly 31 centimeters and Addison's heartbeat is strong and healthy. We recorded her heartbeat this time. We are getting very close to having her, and now see the doctor every 2 weeks until she is born. My due date is still May 8th and I am just hoping that she doesn't come before the end of April but that I don't go past my due date, that's not much to ask for right? :) Sam and I graduate school April 26th and my friend Lauren is getting married the 28th, so I really want to be able to go to those two things and then anytime after that she can come, and preferably sooner than later. :)
This past Saturday we had my baby shower. It was so much fun and we got lots of stuff for her. I am way less stressed about not being ready for her to come. We now have swaddling blankets for her, binkies, bottles, some way adorable outfits, diapers and wipes, blankets, my sister in law Jenny made a ton of headbands and bracelets for her, and Sam's parents got her carseat and stroller. We are so thrilled and so grateful to everyone who came and who brought gifts for Addison. She is gonna be set to go.
We are heading down this friday to Arizona for our spring break trip where we will be having my Arizona shower. I am really excited to see everyone!!
